Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of tcgmeta.io and the TCG Meta apps. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

  • TCG Meta provides card market data, collection tracking, watchlists and alerts, and commerce features including a marketplace.
  • Prices and valuations are informational estimates built from market data. They are not financial advice, and we do not guarantee accuracy or that any card will hold value.
  • Features marked as previews or "coming soon" may change or never ship.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or older and provide accurate information.
  • Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • One account per person. Usernames are first come, first served, and impersonation or reserved-name squatting is not allowed.

Acceptable use

  • No scraping, harvesting or bulk-extracting our data, interfaces or APIs without a written agreement.
  • No abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior, and no interfering with the service or other users.
  • Public content you post (profile, bio, public portfolio, list names) must not infringe others' rights.

Our content and data

  • The TCG Meta brand, design, software and the datasets we compile are ours or licensed to us. Card names, images and game trademarks belong to their publishers.
  • We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service. Commercial reuse of our data requires a data agreement.

Commerce (when live)

Pack openings, auctions and the marketplace will carry their own supplemental terms shown before purchase, including odds disclosures, fees, shipping and dispute handling.

Your TCGMeta wallet

  • Your wallet is self-custodial. It is created and secured through Privy, a third-party provider, on the Solana network, and you control it. TCGMeta is not a bank, is not your custodian, and never holds or has access to your private keys. We cannot move, freeze or recover your assets for you.
  • Balances are not deposits and are not insured by any government or deposit scheme. Crypto-assets are volatile and can lose all of their value.
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you lose your keys or recovery method, or send a transaction in error, your assets may be permanently lost, and no one, including us, can restore them.
  • You may export your private key at any time. Once you export it, its security and use are entirely your own responsibility.
  • Adding or withdrawing funds uses third-party processors (such as MoonPay) under their own terms and fees. TCGMeta may receive an affiliate fee on top-ups, which is included in the total shown before you confirm. Network and venue fees may also apply.
  • Your wallet interacts with independent services (Privy, MoonPay, Collector Crypt, Magic Eden and the Solana network), each governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for their acts, availability, fees or solvency, and we are not a party to any transaction you make on a third-party venue.
  • Prices, valuations and any market signals are informational estimates, and are not financial, investment or tax advice. Your decisions and your taxes are your own.
  • You use the wallet and any commerce entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent the law allows, TCGMeta accepts no liability for lost or inaccessible assets or keys, for losses arising from volatility, irreversible transactions or user error, or for the acts, failures or unavailability of third-party providers or networks, and we exclude indirect, incidental and consequential losses. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, and your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
  • TCGMeta is a platform for information and access. Any decision to buy, hold, sell, fund or withdraw is yours to make.

Third-party listings and deals

  • Features like Deal Radar surface listings from third-party marketplaces (for example eBay). We are not the seller, we are not a party to any transaction, and buying happens on that marketplace under its terms and buyer protections, not ours.
  • We do not verify listings. Prices, grades, photos, authenticity, availability and shipping are the seller's claims, and comparisons against TCGMeta prices are estimates, not valuations of any specific copy. Confirm everything on the listing itself before you pay.
  • A surfaced listing is not a recommendation or an endorsement. To the maximum extent the law allows, we accept no liability for purchases made from third-party listings we surface, including counterfeit, misdescribed, damaged or undelivered items.
  • Outbound marketplace links can carry affiliate attribution, as the Cookie Policy explains.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or decisions made on the basis of price data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. Sections that by nature survive (data rights, liability, disputes) survive termination.
