Your collection data is yours. That sounds obvious until you try to leave a collection app and discover the export button costs money, or the only way in somewhere else is emailing a spreadsheet to support and hoping.
We took a different position on both doors.
Coming in: drop a CSV, review, done
Export a CSV from wherever your collection lives today and drop it on the import page. TCG Meta detects the format automatically. Right now that covers:
- TCGplayer app collection exports
- ManaBox scans
- Dragon Shield card manager exports
- Moxfield collections
- Deckbox inventories
- and a generic reader for any CSV with name and quantity columns
Conditions come along and translate correctly between vocabularies: Dragon Shield's European-style "Excellent" lands as Lightly Played here, because that is what it means in US terms. Purchase prices carry into your cost basis. A card marked Japanese only ever matches the Japanese print, never its English sibling.
Before anything saves, you see a preview: exactly which rows matched the catalog and which did not yet. Nothing imports silently. The rows we cannot place are listed honestly, and as the catalog grows you can re-import and watch them land. There is a request queue for anything you want prioritized.
Going out: free, always
Export lives one click from your portfolio and produces a clean CSV with your sets, numbers, languages, grades, conditions, costs, and current values. It round-trips through our own importer losslessly, graded slabs included.
No tier gates it. No subscription unlocks it. A collection tracker that charges you to retrieve your own inventory has its incentives backwards, and we would rather earn your stay than bill your exit.
